if you're here, you're probably wondering how tf to commission mei open my commissions request form for very small windows of time, usually once every couple of months on twitter & patreonthe reason for that is due to a decade of commission work slowly burning me out, and a desire to focus solely on drawing subjects that i enjoy. i wish i had the energy to draw everyone's FFXIV avatar but alas.. i only accept requests that are right up my alley and fit my art style and interests.btw i do have a waitlist! simply DM me and ask to be added & you will be messaged when my comms open

A: since always. however i got my first drawing tablet (wacom bamboo fun) in middle school & i've taken art seriously and self-teaching since then. i started taking my first commissions on Gaia Online back in 2009!Q: what do you use to draw?
A: I've been using Procreate on my Ipad Pro since 2021. I line and color my art mostly using the default Gloaming brush! I am currently learning CSP though, because it has SO many cool features.Q: how do i get better at art?
A: first, understand that any creative endeavor takes a LOT of time, struggle, and determination... but the effort you put in is always worth it. sucking at something is just the first step towards being sorta good at something (wise words from jake the dog)
Look closely at ur favorite artist's works and try to understand the techniques they used, study the way they lay their lines, dont be afraid to trace art as study (just dont claim as yours). watch speedpaints & tutorials on YT, stare at things and people and imagine how you might draw them, and commit to timed figure drawing challenges (( line-of-action is great for this ))Q: im an artist and im struggling to get commissions, what do i do?
A: lemme be blunt, you need to be aware of whether people want your art. your art should either be the best you can do, or the most visually pleasing you can do. the quality of work you're putting out, how quickly and consistently you can do that quality work, and find how much that quality is generally priced at is really important to know.
Look at other artists commissions & their prices, ask your friends, join art communities, draw gift art for people you admire, & post your art EVERYWHERE! (ive found that various discord art channels and reddit artist subreddits are great for getting your work out there)Q: how do i reach you?

⭒ i'm an elder emo/scene/goth witch that currently lives in chicago with my bf sam and our three evil lil void kitties guts, jiji, and batou. i grew up in the pacific northwest forests. im quite anxious and awkward most of the time but feel the most comfortable and chill in group chats since i was practically raised online.⭒ i grew up lower-class and poor, with not such great parents (stoners & animal hoarders). i was not taught very many life lessons or had many experiences, so i had to learn a LOT on my own. i moved out as soon as i graduated high school!⭒ im a self-taught digital artist that has been taking commissions and posting my art online since middle school ( about 15 years.. ) but only recently truly found an art style & workflow i really enjoy.
